He’s served as a consultant and instructor to groups of journalists around the world, including in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, England and the Philippines. Since 2019, Apple has built full-page infographic-heavy stories for The Spokesman-Review of Spokane, Washington. His “Further Review” pages cover history, science, politics and pop culture and run four days a week. Those pages are distributed to newspapers around the country. Apple lives with his wife, daughter and extensive home reference library in Lilburn, Georgia, in the northeast suburbs of Atlanta. In his spare time, he ... well, to be honest, he researches material for his pages.
